Dr. Bellows in the Oak Island Mystery

Our friends had a Murder Mystery set on Oak Island. Here I am as Doctor Bellows with my Nurse (Marnie Westerman) and famous Hollywood actor Henry (Frank Nickel). Thanks to Mike Leeson for the photo.

This is me as a Bumpy-headed alien in one of the many Vancouver-based science fiction television series.

>> Oct. 2006

We formed Slasher Equity Co-op and produced “Cut!” by Lyle Victor Albert at the Beaumont Studios. This cast photo shows (front R to L) me as Clyde, Prince of Denmark, Allison MacDonald as Nippletitus, Jacqueline Becher as Stanley’s Mother Mrs. Wowalski, and (top back) David Wallace as Fiddleditch, the butler cut from every Oscar Wilde play.

>> Spring of 2005 - finds me on Vancouver Island, clean-shaven but soon to be wearing a fake moustache for one of my multiple characters in "Arsenic and Old Lace" at Chemainus Theatre. With two small roles and an Equity contract, it provides me with lots of time to get organized and enjoy the glorious Spring in the Bannana Belt temperate rain forest of Southwest BC- I really love living in this part of the world.

>> Jacqueline Becher and I will be shooting a short film later in the Summer. I can't say too much- I don't want to jinx it.

>> Christmas 2004 -I dyed my hair and grew a beard for Bad Guy #2 "Lord Elpus" in the "Goldilocks" Panto at the Burr Theatre. My performance contained a Monty Python french accent and knock-about slapstick that almost broke my nose.

>> Feb. 2005 - also at the Burr Theatre", I shaved the beard but kept the moustache to play "Manley Carstairs" the male lead role in "The Housekeeper". This time I played an upper-class, high status fussbudget brit- twit; a great work-out.

>> Lead role of Garry EssendiNe in Noel Coward's Present Laughter at the Burr Theatre (New Westminster, Vancouver) through the month of June.

>> Western Canadian television viewers caught my performance as a Competition Spokesperson for the current London Drugs ad campaign.
